W9VWMulti-OpThis is our first attempt to run this contest. 2 & 6M FT8 was hopping
WA1KRGSingle Op 6MThank you for sponsoring the contest
WA2CLPSingle Op QRPEnjoyed this contest from new QTH. Got used to the N1MM logger and FT8 program. My best contacts were on SSB though
WA5RRHilltopperFirst time as a hilltopper. Found a great location and tried out a new generator power system. It was a fun contest!
WA6EJOSingle Op AllNever heard so much activity in the CQ VHF contest!
WB2AMUSingle Op 6MConditions were extremely poor for this time of year. There were two short periods of Sporadic-E activity observed here - Saturday evening for an hour and one hour during Sunday afternoon
WB6AGE/RRoverThis contest was tremendous fun!
WB8WUASingle Op AllHad fun. The air wave conditions were quite poor for both bands
WB9TFHSingle Op AllWith 2 contests on the same weekend makes it tough to get a good score for either one, NAQP or this one CQWWVFH. I missed a lot of Q's yesterday being on NAQP. Maybe next year I'll only do this one even though it was tough going with FT8. Not much phone or cw to speak of but then the ft8 sigs were mostly minus (-). E clouds didn't stick around long, in and out for short periods. Some frustration trying to complete a QSO in ft8, you try someone else then later the one you quit on shows up on your screen in the middle of a Q. I guess if we didn't have ft8 then maybe we wouldn't have much of a score. It was tough fun and thanks for all the Q's. cu in September. 73
WD6TSingle Op 6MA few hours of FT8 operating on Sunday hoping for new grids, but no openings good enough for my attic dipole (itself an improvement over my previous 6m wet noodle.)
WF4RSingle Op 6MI think that I could have done better if I could have rotated my Yagi
WS5NSingle Op 6MToo short a time period for VHF with unpredicible openings. Run it to 03:00 UTC Monday like the ARRL contest, please
