I only have a low 3 element beam, and 100 watts, but was able to put 31 contacts in the log. The band was open to the midwest from here, and some to the southeastern states. I have no dedicated 6 meter or 2 meter antenna other than a 2 meter j-pole. I spent a little time trolling for contacts but had very little luck. Locals worked were: NN4RB, NJ4Q, K4TM, W4WWQ, N4QWF, NA4DR and WA4RTS |

More local participation this weekend compared to the analog one but only less than one third of the weekly Thursday night 2M FT8 gathering folks showed up for this contest. After 2300Z all activity dropped off dramatically. Still can't understand the 5AM start/ stop time. Allowig points for analog and digital in the same contest is the best solution |
